Jobs That Helicopter Pilots Perform:
Agriculture Spraying
There are a tremendous amount of jobs that helicopter pilots do on a day to day basis. There are also quite a few that are done on a seasonable basis. Agricultural spraying is one of those seasonable jobs. This requires the pilot to apply insecticide and other materials to crops. In the past it was a job that planes did most of the time but that is changing. People are realizing that helicopters are able to apply these chemicals in a more uniform application and much faster than airplanes are capable of doing. Then to, the helicopter can replenish its chemicals right next to the field that the chemical is being applied to instead of needing to fly off to a landing strip.
Firefighting
Working for the forest service is another great job. You could work helping to put out the wild fire in Texas as well as in California.
