| A Commercial Pilot license permits you to carry passengers and cargo for compensation or hire. The Commercial Helicopter Pilot Course syllabus is designed to build upon the aeronautical knowledge and skills learned during the Private Helicopter Pilot Course. At the end of the Commercial Helicopter Pilot Course, you will have acquired the aeronautical knowledge and flight proficiency necessary to pass the FAA Commercial Pilot exam. You will then be able to fly for hire or continue on to the Certified Flight Instructor course if following the Career Pilot Program. |
| General Requirements: |
You must be at least 18 years of age and able to read, speak and understand English. |
| Prerequisites: |
You must already possess a Private Helicopter License. |
| FAA Minimums: |
The FAA requires a minimum of 150 hours of flight time of which 100 hours must be in powered aircraft and 50 hours in helicopters; 35 hours PIC (Pilot In Command) in helicopters. |

- Training occurs in the Robinson R22 & R44 Helicopters.
- Pass a written test given by an FAA Designated Testing Center.
- Pass an oral & flight test given by an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner
